Abstract

The reactions of germanium glycinate, L-α-alaninate, β-alaninate, L-valinate, L-cysteinate, L-leucinate, L-serinate, D,L-methioninate, and D,L-tryptophanate with triethanolamine N(CH2CH2OH)3 afforded new compounds of the 1-(aminoacyloxy)germatrane series. Their potential biological activity against a set of bacterial species was assessed using in vitro experiments.
