Abstract
Using an additive approach, the Δ(NH2–H) increment for the activation energy of thermoneutral reactions with the N–H–C reaction center was calculated from the experimental data, yielding a value of 26.1 ± 1.6 kJ mol--1. This made it possible to calculate rate constants for seven reactions of the aminyl radical with hydrocarbons, which were found to be in good agreement with the data obtained using the combination method.
