Abstract

A method was developed for obtaining an injectable paste based on nanosized hydroxyapatite with a particle size of 76 ± 21 nm. The material is actively phagocytosed by THP-1PMA macrophage-like cells and leads to an increase in pH in acidic compartments, while exhibiting no cytotoxicity at concentrations of up to 0.3 mg ml--1.
