Abstract
A new octahedral tetranuclear nickel(II) complex with a diimine ligand has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex features an unusual tetra-coordinated acetate ion acting as an auxiliary ligand, along with coordinated ethanol and water molecules.
