Abstract

Triazine-based covalent organic framework CTF-1 was prepared via polymerization of 1,4-dicyanobenzene catalyzed by zinc chloride followed by the post-synthesis treatment of the obtained material using ultrasonication to effectively remove the impurities. The CTF-1 material was further modified by transition metal, namely, copper, and tested as the catalyst for hydrogenation of two alkynes and nitrobenzene.
