Abstract

New succinic diester containing two residues of antitumor alkaloid camptothecin has been synthesized. Its cytotoxicity and effect on cell cycle and induction of apoptosis were explored using modern methods of flow cytometry, as well as in vitro studies of the inhibitory activity against human topoisomerase I.
