Abstract

The catalytic properties of bimetallic Pt--Cu catalyst based on SiO2 support were explored in the selective hydrogenation of fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs). The synthesized catalysts were investigated by XRD, TEM-EDX and TPR-H2 methods. The best catalytic properties were achieved over 1Pt/10Cu-PhySi catalyst at temperature 240 °C and H2 pressure of 2.5 MPa.
