Abstract

A modification of the A2 + B3 synthetic approach to the preparation of hyperbranched polymers is suggested providing a convenient route to obtaining high-molecular-weight hydrocarbon polymers starting from 1,3,5-triphenylbenzene and 1,4-bis(chloro-methyl) benzene.
