Abstract

Temperature-dependent measurements according to the modified Eyring equation allowed the evaluation of the displacement selectivity of the nitro group and fluorine in the SNAr reactions of 3-nitro-5-R-benzotrifluorides (R = NO2, F) with the nucleophiles (2ArYH)·K2CO3 and ArY−K+ (Y = O, S) in DMF solutions.
