Abstract

The enthalpies of oxidation of mononuclear [Mo(H2O)6]3+ and binuclear [Mo2(μ-OH)2(H2O)8]4+ complexes in aqueous solutions were determined by calorimetric titration, and the metal–metal bond energy was estimated.
