Abstract

An alkylperoxo molybdenum(VI) intermediate was identified in the reaction of ButOOH with the 1,2-cyclohexanediolo complex of molybdenum(VI) in CHCl3 using 13C, 17O and 95Mo NMR spectroscopy.
