Abstract

The reactions of 2-trifluoromethylchromones and 2-trifluoromethyl-4H-chromen-4-imines with sodium azide in the presence of acetic acid give the ketone and imine derivatives of 5(4)-trifluoromethyl-1,2,3-triazole in high yields.
