Abstract

A set of new regioisomeric ω-hydroxydienoic fatty acids has been prepared via a three-step procedure involving the methylation of ω-carboxydienoic fatty acids followed by the NaBH4 reduction of a mixture of the resulting monomethyl esters and HPLC separation.
