Abstract

The interaction of β,β,γ,γ-tetracyanoalkanones with aqueous ammonia leads to 3-amino-1,2-dicyano-4,6-diazabicyclo[3,2,1]oct- 2-en-7-ones; their structure has been established by X-ray crystallography.
