Abstract

The quantum yields of the photosensitized formation of singlet molecular oxygen from luminescence experiments in benzene olutions of 3,5,7,3′,4′-pentamethoxyflavone, 3-hydroxy-5,7,3′,4′-tetramethoxyflavone and 5-hydroxy-3,7,3′,4′-tetramethoxyflavone were found to be 0.49±0.05 and < 10–2, respectively.
