Abstract

A new synthesis of l,6-trimethylene-5-cyano-2-mercapto-l,3,2-diazaphosphorine-2,4-dithione (by treatment of enamines with phosphorus pentasulfide in the presence of pyridine) has been developed and some of its reactions are discussed.
