Abstract

The ‘wing-bridged’ butterfly clusters Fe3CoPdC(CO)12(π-C3H5) 2 and Fe3CoPdC(CO)123-β-C10H15) 3 have been synthesized; the crystal structure of 2 has been determined, and the absorption and circular dichroism spectra of 3 were investigated and compared with those for the [Pd(η3-β-C10H15)Cl]2 chiral complex 4.
