Abstract
Three new homologues of 1-azaadamantane (2-Me, 2,2- and 3,5-Me2) have been prepared from the corresponding 1-boraadamantane compounds; the key stage in the transformation is an intramolecular 1,2-anionotropic rearrangement of the ω-azidoalkylborane intermediate.
