Abstract
A novel cycloalumination of terminal alkenes using organoaluminium alkyls and halides in the presence of catalytic amounts of (η5-C5H5)2ZrCI2 has been developed, giving trans-3,4-dialkyl-substituted aluminacyclopentanes in one stage.
