Abstract

13-Substituted 11-tosyl-11,12-dihydro-6,12-imino-6H-dibenzo[b,f][1,5]thiazocines have been prepared for the first time by the reaction of 5-nitrothiosalicylaldehyde with imines of ortho/tosylaminobenzaldehyde.
