Abstract

The covalent immobilization of a pH-low insertion peptide to aminosilane-coated magnetic nanoparticles with two core diameters (10 and 20nm) was carried out. The materials obtained were characterized by TEM, XRD, vibrating sample magnetometry, DLS, IR spectroscopy, TGA and elemental analyses. The materials did not have significant cytotoxicity, and they can be used as MRI-guided nanocarriers for tumour targeting.
