Abstract

Starting from octavinylsilsesquioxane, new derivatives with CH2CH2SiAlkx(OH)3– x groups were obtained. Free hydroxyl groups at silicon atoms were employed for modifying activated vermiculite surface to study tribological properties of chromium steel friction pairs.
