Abstract

The first polynuclear heterodimetallic Pdii–Agi trifluoroacetate π-complex with Agi η2- and η4-coordinated molecules of toluene, namely, PdAg2(μ-TFA)42-Tol)2(μ-η4-Tol)]n and [Pd2Ag4(μ-TFA)82-Tol)2(μ-η4-Tol)]n (TFA = OCOCF3, Tol=toluene) as well as the unique seventeen nuclear Pdii–Agi trifluoroacetate complex Pd5Ag12(H2O)16(μ-TFA)8·7H2O have been synthesized. Their solid-state structure was determined by X-ray method.
