Abstract

Polycondensation of four stereoisomers of (tetrahydroxy)(tetraphenyl)cyclotetrasiloxane in solution in the presence of layeredarchitecture compounds afforded polyphenylsilsesquioxanes with different conformational and configurational structures of the siloxane framework, determined by IR, 29Si NMR spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction and MALDI analysis.
