Abstract

Ethyl E-2-acyl-3-ferrocenylacrylates react with 1,1-dimethylguanidine and acetamidine to yield novel 1,3-insertion products of 5-ferrocenyl-2,4-diaza-1,7-dioxohept-2-ene type.
