Abstract
The applications of an Smin chamber, which was proposed recently, and a traditional N chamber (without pre-saturation) for the implementation of multidimensional separations have been compared; the Smin chamber has been found preferable in terms of the main chromatographic parameters (analysis time, efficiency and separating ability).
