Abstract
Pd/Al2O3 demonstrates (in comparison with Pt/Al2O3 and Ni/Al2O3) higher selectivity toward benzene hydrogenation in competitive hydrogenation of a benzene–toluene mixture, which can be enhanced (up to 76%) by the increase of overall reaction pressure up to 37 atm.
