Abstract

The first representatives of the previously unknown perfluoroalkyl(perfluoroaryl)iodonium salts [CnF2n + 1(ArF)I]Y were prepared by reaction of perfluorinated alkyliodine difluorides CnF2n + 1IF2 with aryldifluoroborane C6F5BF2 and on the complementary route from perfluorinated aryliodine difluoride C6F5IF2 and alkyldifluoroborane C6F13BF2.
