Abstract

The ionic-liquids-assisted insertion of activated nitriles into the diaziridine ring of 6-aryl-1,5-diazabicyclo[3.1.0]hexanes catalysed with BF3·Et2O provides a simple method for the preparation of 1-aryl-6,7-dihydro-1H,5H-pyrazolo[1,2-a][1,2,4]triazoles.
