Abstract

The three-component condensation of 1,2-diamino-4-phenylimidazole with aromatic aldehydes and 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane-4,6-dione (Meldrum's acid) led to 7-amino-4-aryl-5-phenyl-3,4-dihydroimidazo[1,5-b]pyridazin-2(1H)-ones.
